Overview & Applications

The EM620 smart meter is purpose-built for fiscal active and reactive energy measurement in Commercial & Industrial markets and power generation plants. It offers complete installation flexibility thanks to direct connection up to 100 A, semi-direct, and indirect (CT/VT) configurations, available in Class C and B versions with MID approval or Class 0.2s.

EM620 combines multi-tariff billing registers, high-resolution load profile recording, and integrated power quality monitoring (THD, voltage dips, and swells). The integrated Read Without Power (RWP) technology enables local optical configuration and readout even in total power loss conditions.

Equipped with RS-232, RS-485, and optical communication ports compliant with DLMS/COSEM, the EM620 interfaces natively with cellular modems, PLC units, and SCADA systems for real-time energy automation.
