Overview & Applications
The Elproma RB900SG is a ruggedized industrial cellular modem designed for automated meter reading (AMR) of fiscal electricity meters such as Itron SL7000 and ACE6000.
Featuring selectable RS-232 and RS-485 serial interfaces, TCP client/server modes, and transparent tunnel communication, it connects fiscal meters to remote central data collection platforms with carrier-grade stability.
Equipped with an internal watchdog, hardware reset circuitry, and extended DC power supply range (5–30 VDC), the RB900SG guarantees unattended continuous operation.
