Overview & Applications
T-Mod 2.0 is the upgraded hardware evolution of the protocol converter, designed to interface Itron SL7000 meters to Modbus RTU networks over RS-485. The device supports reading 1 or 2 meters depending on the model chosen.
Communication adheres to IEC 62056-21, acquiring pre-programmed OBIS measurement sets at 19,200 baud and mapping them directly to Modbus registers.
Ideal for real-time energy automation and submetering architectures requiring low latency and robust multi-drop RS-485 serial connectivity.
