G-MOD Tele-Disconnect Modem

Overview & Applications

G-MOD is the certified tele-disconnect device developed for the remote disconnection and curtailment of Medium Voltage renewable power plants, compliant with Italian Authority Delibera 421/2014 and standard CEI 0-16 Annex M.

It enables DSOs (e.g., e-distribuzione, Unareti) to securely dispatch opening and reclosing commands to the interface protection relay via encrypted GSM/GPRS protocols.

Featuring battery-backed power supply supervision, optoisolated relay outputs, and robust DIN-rail industrial casing, G-MOD ensures seamless grid compliance and operational continuity.
